1. Born in July '78

2. I’m from a big family (if u can call it that =p).

- My Dad (Mylvin) is a Civil Engineer/Contractor.

- My mum (Dalisay) is a part time nanny to my spoiled nephew =p (whenever they come to visit them on weekends).
- I have 3 brothers and a sister and i am so proud of them! (am the eldest): in the following order

(1) Michael (I.T graduate of San Beda) - works in Duabi, UAE as Web Developer

(2) Mylvin II (Civil Engineering graduate of Mapua – Board Passer) - works in Saudi Arabia as Engineer

(3) Aiza (Advertising Graduate of UST; mum of my very cute nephew, Adam, & married to Raymond) - works with Arrow/Espada as Visual Merchandiser

(4) Neil (4th Yr HS student in USTHS)

3. I did not have any sibling till I was 4 so medyo sheltered ako.

4. I have lived just a few blocks away from UST all my life kaya naglalakad lang ako going there (it would have taken me longer if I travelled by car!)

5. I studied in UST from 1983-2001 (Kindergarten till Grad School) – opo, loyalty awardee po ako! *lol*

6. Hatid-sundo ako by my mum till my first few days in college! My HS friends used to call me neneng

7. Finished a University Degree (BS Psychology under the College of Science)

8. Finished my Masters Degree (in Clinical Audiology under the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery) a few months before I turned 23.

9. My first job was still in UST (….I know!!!) as a part time audiometrist at the Hearing and Dizziness Centre – part time bec. I was taking up my masters at the same time =p

10. After finishing my masters degree:

- worked full time as audiologist at the Hearing and Dizziness Centre, UST (mon-sat)

- worked as Clinical Supervisor of Audiology students

- worked as volunteer audiologist/lecturer of one NGO (Better Hearing Phils.).

perks: travelling all around the country. mas marami pa nga atang R&R (rest and recreation!) and of course, you get to reach out to more people! =p - Pay wasn’t so good (as compared here) but it was fulfilling kahit laging pagod. I wouldn’t have left if not for &%$^*!!! got so fed up with her! =p

11. Got a job offer to work in UK (Southampton) in 2003 as Senior Audiologist – pay is very good! But that’s comparing it to what you get in pinas. Standard of living here is high so you also have to be thrifty!

12. My roots are from Alabat, a small island in Quezon Province (4-5 hours by car, kng nd traffic! and an hour boat ride). I used to love spending breaks there kasi dati konti lang ang people. But now, since the advent of ferries (that means cars can get into the island quite easily), too populated na for me.

13. I’ve been to: camiguin, cagayan de oro (enroute to camiguin all by myself for a med mission looking for someone with a banner with my name on it! And that’s during the peak season of abu sayyaf!), cebu, bohol, boracay, palawan, vigan, laoag, ilocos, banaue, sagada, baguio and the regulars (quezon, laguna, rizal, batangas, tagaytay…). Hongkong, Thailand. Had a sneak peak of France, Dubai and Qatar.

14. Obvious ba, I love to TRAVEL!!

15. Bought a house in 2005 =p

16. I am a paranoid, obsessive-compulsive, control freak!

17. I was (past tense na ha!) addicted to sleeping pills and prescription-only calming drugs.

18. I’m scared of dogs (hinabol kasi ako ng isang puppy when I was little kaya medyo aloof ako sa mga makukulit at magalaw na dogs!) and water - sea, pools (almost drowned and was attacked by jelly fish!)

19. ~~I can’t swim. Nagpapanic na ako when water is around chest-high na. kaya I’m very grateful to those who are patient enough to hold my hands when we go snorkelling (thanks celine!)~~ I have learned to swim (with snorkeling equip!) during our honeymoon in palawan. how cool is that! =D

20. I wasn’t allowed to go out after 6pm - not until I was working already! (dad was so strict! still is) but after that, I go out almost every night!

21. I love spa, buffets, chill-out moments, hot choco (no caffeine please as much as possible!)

22. I used to weigh just around 80lbs! as in! that was until 4 years ago =p

23. I don’t have that many friends but the few that I’ve got, I know they are the best friends in the world! =p

24. Shy talga ako in person =p (but not so many people believe that!)

25. Don’t watch that much telly and films (not if I can help it)

26. I get migraine for reading too much kaya I’m not into books (excuses excuses! *lol*). Hey, don’t get me wrong, It’s just a vision thing!

27. I love to shop! Pero now I know how to budget my money and not so impulsive anymore =p (learned all that through tantan!)

28. I’m a frustrated singer, dancer and pianist! So what am I good at? Hhmmmnn…

29. I’m into gadgets

30. I’m career-oriented - i love my job! but yeah, i get burnt out once in a while...

31. I had the Wedding of my Dreams!

32. I love sushi!

33. The only pet I can have are fishes in an aquarium. Even that has to be taken care of by mum! (I’m just so lazy!! How can I have kids?!)

34. Malamigin ako so I don’t know how I’m surviving the winter season here!

35. I’m not a risk taker – I’m into a stable, secured life

36. I’m not a sales person. You can’t make me sell anything!

37. I’m not a good cook. Poor tantan! (not to mention my friends when they come over – same old same old *lol*). But i'm learning new each day so lagi ng busog si tantan =p

38. Not confident in riding public transport (in pinas). i seldom do it naman. but the few times that i did, i found it very difficult to say (not literally say, but u know what i mean?!) "para" - as in nd ako marunong pumara! Sorry na lang ako if I miss my stop – will wait for someone to make their stop then I get off! Haha, stupid!

39. Have broken the radius of my right forearm when I was 3 (was in cast for months!), had braces a few years back and had a major (major daw sabi ng ENT doctor bestfriend ko bec. I was under general anaesthesia) operation in april ’05 (wisdom teeth extraction lang naman po)

40. I wear contacts or specs pag sinisipag! (and I really ought to!) – visually impaired na kasi! =p

41. I got drunk a few times only and I’m totally hilarious! I cry and laugh at the same time! basta u would know i've gone bonkers! By the way, I hate beers!

42. I've been with tantan since 1998.. but who's counting? we have a lifetime together!

43. I hate being in debt (after paying off my 3 credit card bills in pinas! that's the end of it! =p) so now, my (our) only debt is the mortgage. hope we can keep it that way! (what with all the temptation..haaay! it's a real sacrifice =p).

44. I (and tantan) have credit cards but we don't owe them anything. In fact, they're not earning anything from us and instead, they are paying us for using them. how is that possible? we only applied for credit cards with cashback rewards! We use them just so we'll earn more. then we pay them in full each month, thus not earning interest. how wise is that?! =D

45. I love watching House, Charmed, Friends, Sex and the City - can watch them over and over and over and over ..... i'm sure you now get how hooked i am...

46. Bought my first D-SLR in 2006 and is aspiring to be a photographer in my own little way!
